Meet our member Marc Voskuilen

Just before the exciting opening of Tribes Amsterdam South Axis Ito, we had the pleasure to meet Marc Voskuilen, director of Huxley Netherlands, part of Sthree! Sthree moved with 130 employees to the 7th floor of the Ito Tower, where they can enjoy an amazing view of the South Axis. The new members are working concentrated when we walk in, and we hear both English and Dutch languages. Marc himself is still in mind behind his desk, but he clears his schedule to chat with us in one of the two inspiring meeting rooms on the Huxley floor.

Ali Winehouse Jobs Zuckerberg Verstappen and Cruijff You can find them all at the South Axis

Today is the day that the South Axis can add another Tribes. And as always, I’m walking through the new location early in the morning. I look at all the beautiful, all the treasures of the hero-tribe, the X-Tribe at this location. This is a very special tribe, because where we usually inspire through ancient nomadic tribes, this is a modern nomadic tribe. The Ito tower is still sleeping, the spaces are visually empty, and the portraits of the famous X-Tribes look at me secretly. Muhammed Ali, Albert Einstein, Prince Claus, and Amy Winehouse are some of them. Famous names, which initially have nothing to do with each other.

Eurosong or Eurexit
Last week I was reading the newspaper and I read a remarkable article, which said that the Eurovision Song Festival has achieved the highest ratings. Since my debut in RTLZ I find these figures interesting (it's very nice to see them going up), and this message makes me wonder. Apparently, everyone in Europe is watching the Eurovision Song Festival, and that connects us in a special way: by singing. Why does Europe can feel the passion during the Eurovision Song Festival, and why are we guided by ratio during the rest of the year?

Integration and migration It’s possible Don’t judge and stay pure and authentic

I’ve learned soon that things don’t go the same as with us. During my career at Fortis, we were working on a special project. I was the first Dutch who was sent to work with an entirely Belgian team on the plans for an Internet Bank. The presentation of the management lasted all morning. After their lunch, they would give us a final briefing, and we could start working on the plans, which we had to present at the end of the day.

Does the Oval Office makes Trump a real leader
The Oval Office is the most famous office in the world. Obviously, since it’s the place where the leader of the world makes his important phone calls, signs official documents and where he prepares himself for a speech, but also because of its special oval shape. Since childhood I have been fascinated by this room, and I wondered about all the issues that have been discussed in there. About the decisions that have been taken behind the desk, and what secrets it all contains. But above all, I wondered what effect an oval room can have on a person.
