Alderman of education Hilbert Bredemeijer (CDA) announced that the municipality of The Hague is offering students free study places at two locations in The Hague until the end of October. The municipality has chosen Tribes The Hague as one of those locations and made a number of workplaces available to students.

Due to the corona measures, schools and libraries were closed and as a result there were not enough study places available in the city. Students who have fallen behind or are at risk of falling behind can use the free spots to study in a professional environment.

Tribes Founder Eduard Schaepman is proud that the municipality has chosen Tribes: "We find it a fantastic initiative of the municipality of The Hague to make study places more accessible for students. We are proud and happy that we are given the opportunity to support students in their education in this way, after a difficult period for them. We are therefore happy to facilitate their need for a good workplace. We would like to see other aldermen of education in other municipalities adopt this initiative. We are ready'.

Besides study places at Tribes on Kalvermarkt, students can also go to the World Forum on Churchillplein. The places are only available after registration and reservation on studieplekkendenhaag.nl.
