Hi Glen! Could you tell us about Change Boetiek and your role as a change management consultant?

Change Boetiek helps ambitious organizations achieve successful digital transformations within their company. In today's landscape, a digital and data-driven approach is vital for the survival of many companies. At Change Boetiek and in my role as a change management consultant, we recognize the importance of implementing tech, and new ways of working effectively to fully realize its benefits. Simply acquiring hardware or software isn't enough to ensure success.

What inspired you to start your own business with Change Boetiek?

In 2020, I started as an independent entrepreneur. As a consultant specializing in change management, I noticed that organizations often excel at crafting ambitious strategies, they frequently overlook the importance of investing in the 'people side' of change. True digital transformation demands a fundamental shift within the organization. I was motivated to assist these organizations in overcoming this challenge and making digital transformation attainable.

How does Change Boetiek help organizations move to a digital and data-focused setup?

We specialize in creating awareness, engagement, and support for changes and transformations in a digital context. Our expertise includes:

• Creating a long-term vision that inspires and motivates employees
• Crafting a compelling change narrative that resonates with the organization
• Designing a strategic approach to guide necessary changes or transformations
• Leading multifunctional project or product teams to successfully achieve change objectives

What aspect of your work do you enjoy the most and why?

I’m passionate about building relationships. As a consultant, I set myself apart with a people-oriented, action-driven approach. This means I prioritize not only results and content but also fostering strong relationships and promoting effective collaboration across departments and value chains.

First of all, the incredible and inspiring location of Tribes Rotterdam Blaak. When I entered the building for the first time, I could feel the vibrant energy I was looking for. Secondly, the excellent working space and office solutions that Tribes Rotterdam Blaak has to offer.

Finally, what does the future hold for Change Boetiek?

Currently I am focusing on building a portfolio as a speaker. I recently published my second book, which should contribute to that. I strongly believe in the combination of practical experience alongside valuable content to really make a difference for complex organizations with new insights.
