Tribes 8th Amsterdam Location is Officially Open for Business

Tribes officially declared their newest location as ‘open’ in a successful Grand Opening Ceremony on 17th Jan. Tribes Amsterdam FOZ is located in a prime position in the heart of Amsterdam's busy South Axis district. It has already reached 70% occupancy before even officially opening, and the remaining space is expected to fill up before the end of February.

Each Tribes location is inspired by the nomadic tribes of the world, and it was revealed that the Secoya people of Ecuador and Peru were the inspiration behind this new location. The Secoya inhabit the Amazon area, and glimpses of this can be seen in the wood, feathers and greenery that adorns the stylish decor. It is even complete with a traditional hammock! CEO and Founder of Tribes, Eduard Schaepman, is known for his spectacular opening ceremonies, and this one was no different. Eduard and special guest Tabe Ydo, best-selling author of OneDay, conducted a special meditation ceremony based on the spirituality and rituals of the Secoya people. Also in attendance was Hannelore Vandenbussche, photographer and creator of the Netflix Original documentary Human Playground.

Hannelores’ beautiful photographs of the Secoya people are hung on the walls of Amsterdam FOZ and serve as daily inspiration for the business nomads who call this beautiful location home.
