A Note from the CEO: Reflecting on an Inspiring 2023

As the year draws to a close, it's with immense joy and gratitude that I reflect on the incredible journey we've shared at Tribes Inspiring Workplaces in 2023. It has been another remarkable year, filled with growth, inspiration, and unforgettable moments. Let’s take a look back!

Opening Tribes Amsterdam FOZ

We proudly kicked off 2023 with the grand opening of Tribes Amsterdam FOZ, a space inspired by the vibrant Secoya people. The ceremony was nothing short of magical, featuring a meditation session that drew inspiration from the Secoya's profound connection with nature and spirituality. Tribes Amsterdam FOZ is more than just a workplace; it's a tribute to the rich tapestry of cultures that inspire us to create environments where innovation and collaboration thrive.

A Touch of Gold

Our annual company conference was a spectacular event that brought together our incredible team from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Held on the enchanting Forteiland IJmuiden, our theme, "A Touch of Gold," set the tone for a day filled with adventure, teamwork, and celebration. The entire island became a giant escape room, challenging us to unlock the secrets of collaboration and creativity. The evening unfolded with an amazing dinner, awards ceremony, and a party that will be remembered for years to come!

Walid Regragui Joins the X-Tribe

In a momentous occasion, we had the honor of inducting Moroccan national football coach Walid Regragui into our prestigious X-Tribe. His outstanding efforts during the World Cup, marked by resilience and determination, made him a true inspiration to us all. The event, graced by the presence of Moroccan diplomats Mehdi Chiadmi and Salim Lahjomri, brought together entrepreneurs to celebrate Regragui's exceptional contributions at Tribes Amsterdam South Axis ITO.

Exploring the Omo Valley: A Visit to the Hamar and Mursi Tribes

In June, I had the privilege of embarking on an incredible adventure to Ethiopia's Omo Valley with Tribebuilder winner Alice Thornton and Tribes Photographer Julie Lee. We immersed ourselves in the cultures of the Hamar and Mursi tribes, witnessing the awe-inspiring Bull Jumping ritual and gaining insights into their unique way of life. Expanding FOZ

September brought more excitement as we expanded our newest location, Tribes Amsterdam FOZ, by over 1000 sqm. The demand for this inspiring space exceeded our expectations, as it was immediately fully rented, reinforcing the impact Tribes has on providing exceptional workplaces for modern professionals.

Broker Events

In celebration of our fantastic partnerships, we organised some fun events with the amazing brokers who help us to grow our Tribes communities. In the Netherlands, we welcomed our Dutch broker community for an exciting day at the Amsterdam Museumplein Polo event. Meanwhile, in Germany and Belgium, we satisfied our competitive spirits with exhilarating sessions of urban axe throwing. Fantastic occasions that allow us to express our gratitude and strengthen our relationships, all while having a great time!

‘Best Office & Coworking Enterprise 2023 - Europe’ Award

In November, our commitment to excellence was recognized when Tribes Inspiring Workplaces won the 'Best Office & Coworking Enterprise 2023 - Europe' Award in BUILD's Real Estate and Property Awards. This great accolade is a testament to the dedication of our entire team and the enduring success of the Tribes concept.
