Join Eduard & Moeke Spijkstra Cycling Club in the Hollandse 100 to Support Lymphoma Research
Uniting Through Sport and Community to Fund Lifesaving Research
At Tribes, a company dedicated to creating dynamic workspaces that foster collaboration, community, and cultural connection, values like togetherness and supporting one another are at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by the strength and diversity of nomadic tribes worldwide, Tribes' founder and CEO Eduard Schaepman brings a profound sense of purpose to our mission of building spaces where people thrive. Eduard, a community-minded leader, takes this belief beyond the workplace, championing causes that truly matter, one of which is his active involvement in cycling for good causes.
In line with our values, Eduard is honored to join the Moeke Spijkstra Cycling Club on March 23, 2025, in the Hollandse 100, an extraordinary Dutch winter duathlon hosted by the Lymph&Co Foundation, founded by Prince Bernhard of Orange. The Moeke Spijkstra Cycling Club, a local club known across the Randstad for its emphasis on health and friendship, will be riding for a purpose. With at least 50 club members gearing up for this event, the club embodies a spirit that resonates with Tribes: unity, resilience, and commitment to improving lives.
About the Event: Hollandse 100
The Hollandse 100 combines a day of skating, cycling, and togetherness, celebrating Dutch culture with a meaningful mission. Participants will embark on a challenging 10-kilometer ice-skating course followed by a 90-kilometer cycling route. Set against a backdrop of authentic Dutch music, food, and decorations, the event aims to bring people together for an athletic, fun, and impactful experience. Whether you're a competitive athlete or simply enjoy a day on the ice, there are options for everyone – including shorter distances for adults and kids. This vibrant day of exercise and camaraderie will support research into lymphoma, a complex and aggressive form of cancer, helping researchers advance treatments and bring hope to patients worldwide.
Why Support This Cause?
The funds raised during the Hollandse 100 are directed toward Lymph&Co, an organization dedicated to finding better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for lymphoma. Lymphatic cancer, which affects the body's immune system, is among the fastest-growing types of cancer, affecting thousands each year. With research supported by events like these, we can make strides toward groundbreaking treatments that save lives.
Eduard's passion for combining community support with wellness is part of why Tribes is participating in this event. Just as Tribes' workspaces cultivate an environment of inclusivity and collaboration, the Hollandse 100 encourages participants from all walks of life to come together, challenge themselves, and make a positive impact. At Tribes, we believe in the power of working together, whether it's building a thriving workspace community or supporting causes that impact us all.
