We are happy to introduce our latest Member in the Spotlight!

Isabelle is the vibrant entrepreneur behind Belle Estate, a Düsseldorf-based real estate company. With a passion for urban development and housing, Isabelle brings people together and guides them to their ideal places in the city, whether it’s finding a new home or making wise investments. Join us as we explore Isabelle’s inspiring story, her achievements and challenges, and her vision for the future of Belle Estate.

Hi Isabelle! Can you tell us a little about yourself and your business, Belle Estate?

Inside me is a real Rhenish cheerful nature. I love the unconventional and honest things that characterize the people of Düsseldorf, and I am very proud to count myself among this unique group of people. Drinking an Alt at the Fortunabüdchen, watching the sunset and enjoying life - it's the little moments of 'togetherness' that make me happy. I love to change again and again in harmony with my environment.

That's why the topics of urban development and housing touch me so much. With my work I would like to accompany people in phases of change. Whether buying or selling, home ownership or capital investment - as a realtor, I work with my clients to create the foundation for the next step in their lives. I bring people together and hold the space as a mediator between interests, environments, and resources. I care about getting people to the right places in the city for them. Places that become a new home for them or an investment in the future. I bring them together with the city and help them to find their very own part of Düsseldorf.

What inspired you to begin your own company?

Since I am an extremely freedom-loving person, it was very clear to me that one day I would become self-employed.

I've always loved real estate. Having your own four walls gives people security and privacy. There you can dive into your own world. Since I had previously worked in accounting and was already involved in real estate through construction financing, the step of becoming a self-employed real estate agent was very obvious.

What has been your proudest achievement and your biggest challenge?

The greatest successes are always when people are so grateful! When I can make people happy with my service and take a big load off their shoulders. For example, an elderly lady was finally able to pay for her much-needed medical treatment with the proceeds from the sale of her home. And when you know that many families have already been brought together with their new home. That makes me deeply satisfied and grateful.

Of course, things don't always go the way you want them to, but you grow with your tasks. In the end, the biggest challenge is always the struggle with yourself.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Working with people fulfills me. But I am most happy when we get an old and unkempt property on the market. Breathing new life into it with a professional makeover is always like a magic moment.

We’re so happy to have you as a member of Tribes Düsseldorf! What made you join Tribes, and how do you like it here?

I actually used to work for Tribes in accounting. I've known Tribes ever since. I had such an incredibly great time with the other coworkers and colleagues that I really wanted to come back to my tribe. What always fascinates me is the incomparably inspiring atmosphere. There is a very positive and motivating energy here. I can also identify very well with the values that Tribes represents as a Dutch, young, modern, open and international company.

Finally, what does the future hold for you and Belle Estate?

My goal is to make Belle Estate GmbH known regionally in Düsseldorf. When you think of real estate in Dusseldorf, you should associate the name Belle Estate with it. If that's the case, I've made it for myself :)

First step is done with this interview 😊

Thank you so much for your inspiring story, Isabelle!
